How Tony Blair Failed to Lead by Example:

In early 2002, Prime Minister Tony Blair's son Leo was due to receive his vaccinations. I thought it would have been an excellent opportunity for the Prime Minister to set an example by having his son vaccinated with MMR, and acknowledging the fact. This could have eased the public's concerns over the MMR vaccination. Instead the Prime Minister refused to answer the question as to whether or not his son had the MMR vaccination.

Around February 2002 the Prime Minister said, "I would never ask any parent to do something for their child which I did not believe to be safe and right for my own children." However, what he would never ask is quite different from what he would never do.

The rumours circulated in the press that Mr. Blair took his son Leo to France for separate jabs. His spokesman said, "The Prime Minister does not want to get into a detailed medical discussion about his children's medical history." I understand what he's saying, but all we wanted was a definitive acknowledgement that Leo had the MMR jab as recommended by the Department of Health.

On 13 March 2004 an article was published by the Telegraph titled, "Cherie 'took Leo to pendulum healer in place of MMR jab'" and as outrageous as that might sound, I tend to believe most of what is written in the article. This is because I've heard some of Cherie Blairs off-beat comments regarding local and world affairs.

It is also noteworthy to mention that Carole Caplin (who is well-known as Cherie Blairs friend and "lifestyle adviser") wrote a newspaper article in early March 2004 that defended critics of the MMR vaccine. According to the Telegraph, insiders insist that Carole Caplin repeatedly claimed that Leo was not vaccinated with the combined jab.

And lastly, according to Carole Caplin's on-off boyfriend Peter Foster (the convicted fraudster), Cherie Blair asked a man named Mr Temple to wave a pendulum over Leo to protect him from mumps, measles and rubella.
