Religion, Human Aborted Fetal Tissue, and the Merck MMR II Vaccine:

First let me say that the mother and I are of the same religion, and religion was never a subject that was discussed during the hearing in the High Court. However, my own research found that religion has a lot to do with the reason why there is confusion over the safety of the MMR vaccine.

You will likely agree that there are thousands of people who have extremely strong religious beliefs, especially in what's known as the "Bible-Belt" of America. Many of these people do not want you to vaccinate your child and will do everything possible to confuse you over the safety of the MMR vaccine. Why you ask? The answer is simple: Because many vaccines, including MMR, were researched and produced using human aborted fetal tissue. The product insert from the Merck MMR II vaccine has the following introduction:

(MEASLES, MUMPS, and RUBELLA VIRUS VACCINE LIVE)
DESCRIPTION
M-M-R * II (Measles, Mumps, and Rubella Virus Vaccine Live) is a live virus vaccine for vaccination against measles (rubeola), mumps and rubella (German measles). M-M-R II is a sterile lyophilized preparation of (1) ATTENUVAX * (Measles Virus Vaccine Live), a more attenuated line of measles virus, derived from Enders' attenuated Edmonston strain and propagated in chick embryo cell culture; (2) MUMPSVAX * (Mumps Virus Vaccine Live), the Jeryl Lynn ** (B level) strain of mumps virus propagated in chick embryo cell culture; and (3) MERUVAX * II (Rubella Virus Vaccine Live), the Wistar RA 27/3 strain of live attenuated rubella virus propagated in WI-38 human diploid lung fibroblasts. ^1,2

Notice the words, "cultured from an aborted fetus" and, "WI-38 human diploid lung fibroblasts". (The WI-38 cell line was developed in July 1962 from lung tissue taken from a therapeutically aborted fetus of about 3 months gestational age.)

In the United States of America it is a well-known fact that there are people who strongly oppose abortions. Some of these people are in jail right now for killing doctors who performed the operations. Some of these people terrorize and have destroyed (with explosives or fires) health clinics where abortions are performed.

When you read negative information about the MMR vaccine, one thing to consider is: Who wrote the information and is it possible their personal religious beliefs contaminated their writing?
